Explanation of the research

Your Rights as a Research Participant

You may direct any questions you have about the research procedures to the research administrator who runs your study.  Your participation in this research will be anonymous.  We do not collect any information from you that can be used to identify you as an individual. Your participation is voluntary. You will receive one half hour of research pool credit for your participation in this research.  You are free to stop participating in the research at any time, or to decide not to answer any specific questions we may ask. In either case you will still receive your credit.  This research involves minimal risk; that is, no risk to your physical or mental health beyond those encountered in the normal course of everyday life.  If you have questions regarding your rights as a research participant, please contact the Institutional Review Board at (205) 348-5152.

PLEASE NOTE: IN ORDER FOR US TO GIVE YOU COURSE CREDIT FOR YOUR PARTICIPATION, YOU MUST GO TO THE LAST PAGE OF THIS QUESTIONNAIRE. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU GO THROUGH EACH PAGE OF THE QUESTIONNAIRE, BY CLICKING THE SUBMIT BUTTON AT THE END OF EACH PAGE.   IF YOU DO NOT GO TO THE END OF THE QUESTIONNAIRE, WE WILL NOT KNOW WHO YOU ARE AND WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO GIVE YOU COURSE CREDIT!
