AFFILIATIONS

Everyday( and I do mean literally) every day we are
increasing the benefits of affiliating with ALURH!
Here are just a few:

• The opportunity to serve on the ALURH executive board
  and a whole lot of other leadership positions such as
  committee heads etc.

• Voting rights in the ALURH boardroom: You receive one
  vote per school and if you have an active NRHH at your
  school then you also receive one vote in the ALURH
  Recognition Council Board Room
   

• Opportunities for awards such as:
  Student of the Year
  Advisor of the Year
  Golden Chapter RHA
  NCC of the Year
  RHA Building Block
  NRHH Building Block
  all of these awards are bid on at the ALURH level at
  the ALURH Conference and the winning bids are
  backed by ALURH for the SAACURH No Frills Conference
  in which the regional award winner is selected for
  national competition
   

• Something new this year is the ALURH GRANT
  we will be awarding money towards attending
  conferences but you must be an affiliated school to
  apply for the grants
   

• The Years of Service Award is something new this year
  as well and it will the first opportunity to receive the ALURH Service Pin
   

• We recognize you guys with everything from
  sponsorships to conferences, certificates, and the new
  Official ALURH lapel pins
   

• Access to the list serve... you can send out any residential
  life related questions you may have for feedback as
  well as join in any chats we may schedule
   

• You will receive the newsletter and have opportunities
  to put info/ articles about programs etc at your
  school
   

• When you come to conferences you will get to
  experience all types of programs and meet people from
  the other 10 schools affiliated in the state as well as
  special guest from other state associations and the
  SAACURH Executive Board
   

• If it's new to you guys going with ALURH
  as a group to SAACURH would be beneficial to you guys
  as we will help you make the most of the experience!
  It might help on cost as well as we have a committee
  for transportation
