a) read text presentation of experiment
b) read the operation sections (OP-#) which apply to the experiment
c) prepare a prelab notebook write-up for the experiment (see handout for details)
d) prepare for possible quiz on experiment (know balanced reactions to be run, basic procedures or techniques to be used and the reasons for them, the structures and properties of chemicals to be used, the goal of the experiment, the theoretical yields of any products to be prepared, any hazards or special safety precautions associated with the experiment)
