Departmental Facilities
The Department of Chemistry is well-equipped with modern instrumentation to support its teaching and research missions. In addition, efforts are constantly underway to update and expand these facilities. The links below provide additional information on some of the major instrumentation that are used by the Department. Unless otherwise noted, this equipment is housed in Lloyd Hall. In addition to this major instrumentation, a variety of other equipment (such as chromatographs, spectrometers, electrochemistry appartus, and organic/biochemical synthesizers) is available to individual research groups.
