Alabama in Austria 2007 June 30 - August 4
FURTHER INFORMATION for 2007
Alabama in Austria is a University-sponsored intensive five-week summer program in Klagenfurt, Austria. Klagenfurt, a city of about 80,000 is located on the Lake Wörther, the largest mountain lake in Austria. The city which is surrounded by mountains, is the capital of the Austrian state of Carinthia.
At the University of Klagenfurt the students are enrolled in the Deutsch in Österreich Programm.
The program at the Institute lasts from July 2 to July 27. Thereafter the group will be traveling (details to come) and return home on August 4.
The costs of the program (without airfare) of $4000 includes tuition for 6 hours of German credit, textbooks and materials, International Student I.D. Card, all excursions and entrance fees, single occupancy room in a dorm and breakfast, lunches and some dinners. There is a $ 1000 scholarship available sponsored by the University of Klagenfurt, as well as other scholarships depending on funds and number of applicants.

PAYMENT SCHEDULE:
December 15: $100 application fee with application form
January 13: $500 program confirmation deposit due
February 15: $1.700 + airfare (if applicable)
