Suggested Repertoire for Undergraduate Saxophone Auditions

I suggest that your audition include two "classical" pieces (or one piece and an etude) with a jazz etude or jazz piece being extra. Pieces should contrast in style and show tone, technique, and musicality. The total playing time should be 7-12 minutes for college freshman. You need not play complete works, only complete movements. Remember these are only a few suggestions.
