Lab Reports Policy:
There are 8
reports.
Each person should
turn it at least 6. You can forego
2 reports, including days for which you were absent. (i.e. If you were absent on 2 of the lab days, turn in the
other 6 for full credit.)
All lab reports are
due no later than 6 PM of Tuesday, April 24. Any reports turned in after that
(but before 5PM of May 7) will be reviewed, but only for half-credit.
Grades for reports
will be:
Poor: Displayed lack of understanding of the purpose of
the measurements, what the bacteria were doing, the operational parameters,
etc. Did not calculate rates based on measurements, etc.
OK: Satisfactory understanding of the experiment and the
measurements, but somewhat minimal performance.
Good: Showed good understanding of the operation and
goal(s) of the experiment, and drew appropriate conclusions from data. (Very Good for those exemplary reports that went beyond this
level.)
