The SEMRC is held every year
and rotates among various locations in the southeastern United States. The
focus of the conference is the exchange of ideas and recent magnetic resonance
research highlights, including new applications and technique development.
Particular emphasis is placed on activities in the region.
The 2006 SEMRC
was hosted by the University of Florida, along with Florida State University
and the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory. We are very happy to host the
annual meeting back in Tuscaloosa for the first time since 1996.
The 36th
meeting will be held at Shelby
Hall on November 9-11, 2007, and will be hosted by The University of Alabama,
the Dept. of Chemistry and the Center for Materials for Information Technology
(MINT).
