General Information
Travel Awards for
Students & Postdocs
We are currently obtaining
funds from our sponsors to support registration and travel for students and
postdocs. We know that we will have some money, but we do not yet know how
much. These travels awards will be in the amount of $250. For those who wish to
be considered for a travel award, please attach a 1-page application to your
registration consisting of your name, address, and a short paragraph detailing
your current research. (If you wish, you may also include a current CV.) If you
register online, then please send your application to lkispert@bama.ua.edu. The earlier you do
this, the better.
Meals and
refreshments
The following will be
provided (they are included in your registration fee):
Friday night reception (wine and hors
dÕoeuvres)
Morning coffee (not breakfast)
Breaks (coffee, tea, and snacks)
Lunch on Saturday and Sunday
Banquet dinner on Saturday night
Conference venue
The conference will be
held in Shelby Hall on the UA campus. See link above
for directions. Temporary parking
permits will be provided at registration for those arriving early on Friday.
