3 movies:
A
morphing movie of the R/C complex interface opening up. The large and small
lobes of the C subunit are rendered as gray and tan surfaces, respectively. The
inhibitor/linker region of RIa is in red and the rest in yellow. The complex
interface occludes approximately 2800Å2.
A
morphing movie of RIa in the cAMP-bound and C-bound conformations.
Starting frame is in the cAMP-bound with cAMP in PBC (in yellow). RIa changes
into the C-bound conformation as cAMP moves out of PBC and then going back to
the cAMP-bound. The inhibitor/linker region in red is only ordered when C
binds. B/C helix in white . Three residues ‹ Asp170R, Tyr205R, and Lys240R ‹ are
shown as bond. Asp170R binds to a cAMP-binding residue Arg209R in the
cAMP-bound conformation and binds to Arg226R in the C-bound.
A
rock-and-roll movie of Fig. 4A showing specific interaction between the active
site cleft and the inhibitor sequence. All of the movies were generated with
VMD (S10).
