Besides twelve laboratory exercises, there will be 3 Major Quizzes that will, in all, count for 30% of the total grade. To prepare for these quizzes, study guides will be distributed in-class for your review purposes. Asking questions about anything you do not understand and actively participating in lab exercise work is essential for doing well on the quizzes. Below are links to online copies of the review sheets, which can be printed, as needed.
Missed Quizzes: In the event that you are not able to attend your scheduled lab time, you should try to attend one of my other sections. If you miss the quiz during its week, then you must present a valid doctor’s note or other appropriate excuse. Furthermore, you should inform the instructor within one week that you need to make up the missed quiz, otherwise credit may not be received. |
