| I graduated from the University of Alabama in May of 2008 with a B.A. in Classics and English and a minor in the Blount Undergraduate Initiative. Currently, I am a graduate student in the School of Library and Information Sciences, and hope to graduate in May of 2010 with a Master's of Library and Information Sciences. I am able to keep in touch with my first love, Classics, through my job as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in the University's Department of Modern Languages and Classics. There, I assist Professor Kirk Summers with two large classes and act as an ad hoc officer in the Academy Classics Club and Eta Sigma Phi honor society. Upon graduation, I hope to find employment as a reference librarian in a law, academic, or public library. |
