Welcome to the official website of the UA chapter of NAACP! Here at The University of
Alabama we work hard to improve the political, educational, social and economic status of minority groups,
eliminate racial prejudice, and keep the public aware of the unfavorable effects of racial discrimination
all while remaining consistent with the efforts of the national organization. We strive to keep our
founder’s dreams and hopes alive by making a difference not only on our campus but also in the community.
If you are looking to join an organization ready to work and make a difference while having fun, we
