Welcome
Welcome back members! We have a very exciting semester coming up, and we hope you will join us. A number of professional speakers will be visiting us throughout the Spring. We will be holding officer elections and presenting a new set of chapter bylaws for your approval. Additionally, trips to two very important national events are being planned. The 2007 National Assembly will be held in Nashville, Tenn. from March 23rd – 25th. In the fall, the 2007 National Conference will be held in Philadelphia, Penn. from October 19th – 23rd. The Georgia chapter of PRSA will also be hosting its annual Real World conference in Atlanta, Ga. on February 16th. Our annual community service project, Operation Easter Basket, is coming up and we are working to establish a mutually beneficial relationship with the Public Relations Council of Alabama. We hope you are as excited as we are about the upcoming semester, and as always if you have any questions or need anything feel free to contact one of our officers using the chapter email address.
